An extraordinary piece of earth you shouldn't miss to visit!

Buenos Aires and Mendoza
Mendoza is Argentina's most famous wine-producing province, lying at the foot of the Andes - and we would love to welcome you there! Tasting the great Argentinean wines and meal tonight might give you the desire to discover this country of outstanding natural beauty with the cosmo-politan and vivacious city of Buenos Aires and its melancholic world of tango and local tradition!

Just after your arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be welcomed by us at the luxurious Hotel Alvear Palace, which lies perfectly centred in a beautiful neighbourhood of the Capital City. To give you an unforgettable first day impression of Buenos Aires, we would like to take you to the Querandi Tango Show for an exciting experience in the evening.

Day 2
You will discover the city in a private car which takes you to the historical and most interesting "barrios" (neighbourhoods) of Buenos Aires, as for example: La Boca (originally the neighbourhood of the harbour workers), San Telmo (the oldest part of the city, where the Tango was born) and the Cemetery of Recoleta (where Evita Perón is buried). For lunch we will take you to the exclusive Jockey Club of Buenos Aires, before continuing our tour to Plaza de Mayo (where the Casa Rosada, the seat of the executive power, was built and around which the city expanded), and to the Obelisk right on one of the widest avenues in the World ("Avenida 9 de Julio"). You will have time enough to stroll through "Florida Street" where you will find a variety of cinemas, cafés and stores, before returning to the hotel. In the evening we count to invite you to famous Theatre Colón for a performance in South-America's most beautiful Opera House (if available).

Day 3, 4, 5
You will fly to the province of Mendoza and its namesake Capital City, only two flight hours away from Buenos Aires. Mendoza with its shady green spaces is a real oasis in the middle of the dry desert surrounding it, is well-known for its great wine cultivation.
Here you will stay three nights at an antique mansion (Hyatt Hotel) set in the Tupungato mountain range, from where you will make excursions to different wineries.
A city tour through the charming city, and eating and drinking in local mendocinian restaurants will let you get in touch with the local culture, a significant aspect for a better understanding of thewine spirit.
During these days, you will have ample opportunity to enjoy "asado", the typical Argentinean barbecue, with wine of the wineries you visited during the days, and accompanied by local folk music and dances. Every day during this trip you will learn about the wine production techniques of the region and visit the wine cellars of different vineyards in the area, always accompanied by a wine expert, who besides his guidance will introduce you to the art of wine-tasting.

Day 6
You'll be back in Buenos Aires. The rest of the day will be at your own disposal: You can use it for enjoying Buenos Aires once more and stroll along the "Puerto Madero" harbour, where you can find great restaurants and shows to visit, but also a Nature Reserve for quiet walks along the Rio de la Plata.

Just in case you are tempted to see something else or more of Argentina's beauties: We organize tours to the world famous Iguazú Waterfalls, the Patagonian World of Glaciers and Whale-Watching on the Peninsula Valdés as well, and to any other place!
